What in the wide world of sports we're you thinking when you became a tranny, drag queen, transgendered person????

First much of this text is stolen from Becky.  Although I fancy myself a genius writer, this girl is too good not to plagiarize and so much of our descriptions are the same.  Check her out at http://www.beckysweb.co.uk/   Soooo on with my version:

 I'm a Tranny (aka transvestite, transgendered person, and a bit of a Drag Queen), actually. I gain pleasure from occasionally hanging out in ‘girl land’   Hmmm, who would have thought it, eh?

Why do I do it? Who knows. I once heard it summed up thusly: "If you have a reason for doing it, you're not really a tranny."

I wouldn't drop down dead if I never dressed again, although, life does get pretty depressing during extended periods in bloke mode!  I also manifest some nervous, anxiety physical symptoms if I go for more than a month.

Why do I want to feel girly? Because I'm a transvestite. Why am I a transvestite? Because I like feeling girly.

Circular logic, I know, but who said it was anything to do with logic?

Do I love women is not the question rather it is why do I love them so much?   Maybe it's like Hannibal said in Silence of the Lambs, "we covet what we see every day".

The Early Years

Two billion years ago the distant ancestors of humankind evolved into two sexes to avoid mutations in mitochondrial DNA spreading throughout the entire species. Not long afterwards some of the male blobs had started tucking their psuedopods and calling themselves Grace.

Fast forward on to...

The Slightly Less Early Years

My tranny tendencies started about twelvety-nine years ago. I first realized that wearing women's things was an interesting idea when I was around 5 or 6. And it was an idea that wouldn't go away.

It played on my mind for a long time. When I was little, I occasionally dressed up in clothes I borrowed from Mum, but never very often. And then as I got older and went to school, the idea came with me, but the opportunities never really arose.

And it was never a HUGE big thing, I always thought I could take it or leave it.

I did the typical denial thing, decided to get into sporting endeavors because it was particularly manly.

My late teens early twenties are a kind of a blur. The transvestite thing was still there, I'm sure... but it didn't really affect my day-to-day life. During that time I didn't really dress.

Grace was dormant.

And then, soon after I hit thirty, she woke up. And after a twenty year lie-in, BOY was she cranky! She started to demand some changes, and take over the reins of my life a bit more.

One of the things that made a difference was joining a wonderful group of performers called Fantasy Follies. Those girls we’re cool.   Although they were more gay and more drag queenie than I felt, they were experts in several key girl technologies and we’re generous with their knowledge.   Also because they were  making money in a show, joining them had a lot more currency with the normal world.

Although not a full fledged drag queen, I clearly had a gift for comedy both mentally and in the persona I created visually.  This made it easy to succeed in show biz and gave me both strokes and cash for my creation/obsession.

I went on to mostly work on my show biz as it was soooo much fun.  I’ve been involved with all aspects of show biz ever since including producing and directing.  Bottom line, it’s all a ruse to allow me an outlet.  

If you want to know more help me get more grant money so I can pursue my isolation of the DNA tranny marker gene.   Clearly, there is a large inherited aspect as so many trannies start doing it in a near vacuum and at a very young age.  I personally never knew there was such a thing until I was 16 and was pretty sure I was the only one.
